You are indeed a very inspirational and motivating speaker. I never did expect to receive so many positive feedbacks from you. To be honest, at the start of the seminar, I though to myself: “This is so nerve-racking. I should have come!” After my one-minute introductory speech, I felt like burying myself because I knew that it was one of the worst speeches I’ve ever delivered due to anxiety. Those positive feedbacks that you’ve given me, at that time made me feel that you were just being polite because you didn’t want to hurt my feelings, discourage me or put me down.
However, thinking back, I really do appreciate those positive feedbacks of yours. If you have bombarded me with so much criticism at the start, I would have done worse as the day progressed. "I have to admit that I went into the gifted and talented enrichment program as a skeptic. What could this sort of program possibly offer me? It wasn't as if I didn't understand what a "leader" was, and although I can't say public speaking was one of my greatest strengths, it certainly wasn't something I was afraid of either...

Less than 5 minutes into the session, I realised that the "complete and absolute" understanding I already had of "leadership" amounted to nothing, and barely that. The program left me with an entirely different attitude to leadership roles and a much deeper understanding and appreciation of, leadership.
